February 19-March 6, 2010 in the Evjue Theatre
Directed by David Woldseth
Two Rooms will run in repertory with Meg.
Synopsis
The story takes place in, as the title suggests, two rooms. One is a cell in Lebanon where Michael Wells is being held hostage by terrorists. The other is his office in his home in Washington D.C. where his wife Lanie waits for his return. The play deals with the subjects of the terrorism and the government, the media, and the love of a husband and wife.
Running time for this production is 2 hours.

Press
"Two Rooms," running in repertory with "Meg" at the Bartell Theatre through March 6, is an impressive choice from MTG.
...Blessing's words are powerful, even when preachy, and Madison Theatre Guild embraces his gift for storytelling. "Two Rooms" takes seriously theater's charge to challenge, with admirable results.
- Lindsay Christians, 77 Square: Intense political drama examines the personal side of crisis
This is a provocative and affecting play, dark and cerebral. It is also, at its core, a deeply moving love story. Unfortunately the run is only for six performances. Such a worthwhile production deserves more opportunities to be seen.
